We've had Hoover, Eureka, Dust Devil, and Kenmore vacuums. The Oreck 2100RHS is as good as any of them, has ample suction, has a nice long cord, is lightweight, gets into corners and under furniture with little effort.

"I am a pet owner--2 dogs & 1 cat equal lots of pet hair. My house is two levels, carpeted stairs and some wall to wall carpet in long hall and one bedroom, some rugs but mostly bare hardwood floors and tile mixed in. This model Oreck Commercial 2100RHS vac is my favorite vacuum because it keeps its strong suction going longest and is nice and light, easy to use on the carpeted stairs and to carry upstairs."

"I was skeptical about this Oreck Commercial 2100RHS 8 Pound Commercial Upright Vacuum purchase, but read a lot on vacuums before buying. This is a great little vacuum. It is rugged, yet light and it has picked up all the pet hair (my dog sheds horribly) as well as pine needles from my Christmas tree.

I can run it straight from my ceramic tile floor onto the floor rugs without changing adjustments, and it doesn't try to suck the rug up into it. It's much iighter than any vacuum I have ever owned, which is great because it's not quite the work out to vacuum that it was in the past. Well, I care not a bit about the looks of the vacuum clean as long as it performs well."

"I have allergies to just about everything,paticularly dust. I have switched my upright to the Oreck using the hypoallergenic bags. The Oreck Commercial 2100RHS Upright Vacuum contains the dust particles in the hypoallergenic bag ,is light weight and flexible enough to vaccum in tight areas. Love it , love it, love it!!!"
