We bought this Shark Navigator Lift-Away Vacuum NV352 after reading many many reviews. We had been through 4 of the cheapy $35-40 vacs within 4 yrs, so we wanted an upgrade, but not so far as Dyson. We chose this based on all those reviews. We were amazed. We still love this vacuum after 3 yrs. Our children 6-9yrs old can use this with ease.

The Shark Navigator Lift-Away Vacuum NV352 is light, quiet, powerful, not costing a fortune and has a completely closed system. No more dust all over the outside of the vacuum and no more dust getting out to make us suffer allergies!! Next you have to decide on the regular or the Liftoff. Which was no easy task for me since no review ever swayed me since they didnt have the same info for the vacuums to be compared.

The area rug in my living room previously needed to be scrubbed by hand with a sponge and even then, dander, dirt, dust and hair still covered the thing. I assumed it was just a cheap rug and sucked, not once did I think a vacuum could make it like new.

Cat hair doesn't stand a chance in my house with this thing. Although the highlight of using the Dustbuster is watching my cats scatter across the house in fear, the Shark Navigator Lift-Away Vacuum NV352 is so quiet that even my scarediest cat doesn't run when I hit the switch. I think that might be a con, that takes away some of the fun.

Excellent vacuum for the price. If pet hair is your issue I doubt you can do better than the Shark Lift Away. For non pet owners perhaps look around but keep this high on your list of choices! I've seen a number of favorable reviews comparing this Shark to the Dyson line, and I can understand why. Very powerful little vacuum, especially on floors. There are better ways of cleaning bare floors, but for carpets, this is hard to beat.
