Clean Better with Hoover WindTunnel T-Series Rewind Upright Vacuum Bagless UH70120

Tired of buying "cheap" vacuums, we decided on this Hoover WindTunnel Upright Vacuum Bagless UH70120 and we are very content with it. After 2 years of ownership, I have nothing but praise for my Windtunnel T-Series Rewind. It still runs as well as the day I bought it.

It comes with enough neat and "useful" attachments (it doesn't have a lot of attachments which is nice because you'll never use all of them); the bagless feature is cool but the washable filter is what I like the most about it. As for cleaning power, it would certainly whip the one-year-old Dyson 'Animal' vacuum that we have at my work any old day, and for about a quarter of the money.
  • Lightweight upright vacuum cleaner with WindTunnel Technology for consistent suction
  • Five position height adjustment; 13-1/2-inch-wide nozzle; no-scuff bumper
  • 27-foot retractable power cord; rinse-clean filter and permanent HEPA filter
  • Includes extension wand, crevice tool, upholstery/dusting brush, and powered hand tool
  • Product Built to North American Electrical Standards
I did not have the problem that some of the other reviewers had with the belt breaking after the first use. The vacuum is light, it is not bulky, the wind up cord is awesome. The only thing it does not have is a light in the front but that by itself does not hinder its performance in anyway.

We clean up the area around our Chinchilla cage (which involves fur, bits of hay, etc) as well as to effectively pull dog hair out of our carpets. The vacuum has performed both of these tasks beautifully and much better than other vacuums we've had (including our central vac system). For the price it does an excellent job.

Hoover WindTunnel Upright Vacuum Bagless UH70120 Pros:
  • Super easily assembly - 1 screw
  • Cord rewind actually works
  • Stair cleaning attachment was standard
  • Washable filter, lifetime HEPA filter
  • Ease of use with emptying the collection cup.
Hoover WindTunnel Upright Vacuum Bagless UH70120 Cons:
  • Not a power-driven system - you're doing all of the pushing
  • No shut off switch for the brush roll when you to go attachment mode
More than 2,831 people has been buy Hoover WindTunnel T-Series Rewind Upright Vacuum Bagless UH70120 and 76% are satisfied (as 12/21/2013).

This model is worth the price and can compete with more "advanced" vacuums.  We are very happy with this purchase. I thank everyone for their reviews to help me make this purchase decision. I also like the fact that Consumer Reports rated this better than vacuums that cost three times as much!
